Allow me to introduce the case, along with the preliminary findings from the forensic examination.

At 12:00 p.m. on April 5th, 2026, Qingming Festival, a man was found dead. The victim was a salesman with a relatively simple social background and no immediately obvious network of complicated associates. According to the initial investigation, he had been in a long-term relationship with a woman he first met in college, and that relationship appears to have continued up to the time of his death. At present, this woman is missing.

The body was discovered face down on the floor. Initial forensic observation indicates severe burning damage to the face. The victim’s eyes appear to have been the point where the burning began, and the damage seems to have spread outward from that area. His glasses were found partially melted at the scene.

At this stage, the cause of death remains under investigation.
